Marc Baranski has worked with Board members and senior leadership for over 25 years to optimize business performance through addressing significant executive compensation issues that result from growth, expansion into new businesses/geographies, mergers, changes in Management, or change management initiatives. His work with clients is focused on developing reward strategies, identifying performance measurement and management systems, creating talent management approaches, and designing annual and long-term incentive systems for key executives who drive business results.
Prior to joining Semler Brossy in 2008, Marc was a Principal at Mercer, in the human capital consulting business. In his two years with Mercer, Marc was the investment management segment leader for the Global Financial Services Network. Before Mercer, Marc spent 12 years at Sibson, where he helped start and then led that firm’s London office, living in London for 5 years, working with clients in the EMEA region. He also managed the Financial Services Industry Practice and Princeton office.
Marc has spoken on human capital issues to groups such as the World at Work national conference, the Conference Board, the Private Equity Human Resources Roundtable, the UK Senior HR Leadership Forum, the UK’s Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and the Wall Street Compensation and Benefits Association.

Mark holds a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.

Before joining Semler Brossy, Blair was the practice leader in Leadership Performance and Rewards at Sibson and an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.
Blair holds the designations of Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP). Since 2013, Blair has consistently been named to the D100, NACD Directorship Magazine’s annual list of the most influential people in the boardroom. Blair currently serves on the Mohawk Valley Health System board and leads its Women’s Giving Circle, helping direct philanthropic support to community health initiatives. She also serves on the advisory board for M3 Placement & Partnership.
