Our commitment to D&I enables us to attract, develop, and inspire top talent. We recruit incoming associates and experienced candidates from a broad range of backgrounds, through a selection process focused on consistency in testing for core skills and minimizing bias. 

From recruiting to developing and engaging current staff with various programs and initiatives, we embrace our diversity and inclusive culture as critical to our success. 

Our D&I Council, comprised of representatives from every level of our firm, champions our D&I efforts through ongoing training programs, dialogue, and initiatives including: 

  • D&I and Implicit Bias Training Sessions for the full firm, created in partnership with and facilitated by external D&I training experts 
  • Implicit Bias Awareness Training Sessions for Interviewers to reduce bias in the interview process 
  • Firm-Wide D&I Survey created in partnership with external D&I experts, to identify current gaps and design our D&I roadmap 
  • Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Awareness (IDEA) Spotlights on monthly firm-wide meeting highlighting various diversity segments and inclusive culture-related topics 
  • Vendor and Supplier Diversity Efforts focused on partnering with companies led by individuals from underrepresented communities for firm-wide events 
  • Periodic Awareness and Education Campaigns on diversity and inclusion topics or in response to current events 

We also coordinate initiatives with our Women@SBCG team — looking holistically at multiple dimensions of diversity, including gender, race, and more.
